Homestead Rotary - A Message from the Club President

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 30,000 Rotary clubs located in 166 countries.

The Rotary Club of Homestead is guided by the same Object of Rotary followed by clubs worldwide. This is achieved by encouraging and fostering the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular to encourage and foster:

1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.

2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the affirmation by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society.

3. The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his personal, business, and community life.

4. The advancement of international understanding, good will, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional people united in the ideal of service.
